That was Then, This is Now3
In class, we just finished reading the novel, That was Then, This is Now, this novel is described by many as a coming of age story. Pick one character & describe how you feel they changed as the novel progressed.
Why did Charlie have to die?
BRYON: I LOVED BRYON EVEN THOUGH IN THE STORY HE WAS UGLY. I LIKED HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS GIRLS AFTER HE MET CATHY AGAIN. HE FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO TELL PEOPLE HOW HE REALLY FELT ABOUT THINGS. BUT WHAT I DISN’T LIKE WAS HE TURNED AGAINST ALL THE THE POEOPLE HE REALLY CARED ABOUT.
I have not read the whole book, but I’ve read more than most of my class. That’s not saying much though, as my class only completed up to Chapter 2 or 3.
